Water Is Life Affirmation (Mni Wiconi) is the rallying cry for those who believe that water is sacred and that clean water is essential to life. As such, water is a fundamental human right, especially for Indigenous peoples and marginalized communities.


Made with glass seed beads and alphabet tiles. Inspired by the Geechee tradition of writing on fabric or paper and either pinning or sewing it on clothes, this tradition is updated to 2.0 using new materials and tools (S-lon cording and Kumihimo disk for weaving).
